1. Second Amendment Rights
America?s Founding Fathers gave all Americans certain inalienable rights and one of them is ?the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.? As your State Representative, I will defend your rights against attacks from anti-gun activists.
2. ObamaCare
The new federal healthcare bill signed into law by President Obama will force all Georgians to purchase a government healthcare plan or face taxes and fines. The bill also provides for federal funding of abortions, rationing of healthcare services, lowering of the quality of the nation?s health system, and increased monitoring of your finances by the IRS.
As your State Representative, I will work to make sure Georgians are not saddled with a federal health care program that cuts services, forces Georgians to purchase insurance, and raises our costs of healthcare while lowering its standards.
3. Immigration
Illegal aliens cost Georgia taxpayers $242 million for education in 2003 alone. In addition, they cost GA taxpayers millions of dollars for unpaid medical bills at our hospitals. Illegal aliens bring drug trafficking, gang violence, and other crime to Georgia. As your State Representative, I support tough action to ensure illegal aliens in Georgia are identified and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
4. Property Taxes
Tax on property is arguably the most unfair and oppressive tax levied on Georgians. Under the current property tax system, you never really own your property. In fact, property taxes reduce you to a mere tenant of the government.
As your State Representative, I will work with others in the House and Senate to eliminate this unfair tax on your property.
5. Protecting Life
I have been endorsed by Georgia Right to Life (www.grtl.org) because I am committed to protecting life. As your State Representative, I support the US Constitution?s equal protection under the law provision to protect the civil rights of the innocent and helpless.
